Sometimes, specific stories of discrimination from people of prominence can wear down skepticism. yes...even rich POCs are subject to housing discrimination. And as the story notes, sometimes institutions that you would imagine backing their employees publicly do not. A very personal story that might be helpful when working with a skeptic who thinks that whatever levels of residual racism exists only happen in realms that are not important, or to working class people.
