Sometimes, ACT has material guidance about engaging racism skeptics that has not been published desseinaited in existing products. Subscribers have an opportunity to engage these products while they are in development, and thus help shape the direction of future offerings that will help anti-racism allies.
In late June 2018, ACT convened three meetings with allies who wanted to experiment with some ways to engage racism skeptics on the issue immigrant family separation. The draft guide for holding such conversations is provided below. In addition, a record of the Zoom call where the guide was discussed. While the video is not visually appealing, the meeting included a very enlightening discussion of the methods and included quality interactions between ACT staff and allies about hwo to best mobilize stories to create conversational breakthroughs with white people who support the family separation policy.
